At IEEE @ UMD, collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We regularly partner with other student organizations to create meaningful professional, academic, and community opportunities for our members. Here are some of the organizations we’ve proudly worked alongside:

IEEE-HKN Gamma Xi Chapter is the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society of the University of Maryland, College Park. Feel free to visit their website and email Kathryn Weiland (kweiland@umd.edu) for any questions.

Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) hosts regular social, professional, and service-based events. Their main goal is to encourage the recruitment and retention of women in the ECE and to build a friendly and supportive community. They’re open to all genders and majors! Feel free to join their Discord.

The Engineering Academic Services Office offers free academic peer coaching for all engineering students. Their coaches can help students with note taking, time management, exam preparation, test anxiety, and study skills. Their goal is to connect students with the resources you need to accomplish their academic goals.
